Blockchain Based Trust Model Using Tendermint in Vehicular Adhoc Networks

Blockchain is the consensus-based technology used to resolve conflicts in Byzantine environments. Vehicles validate messages received from neighboring vehicles using gradient boosting technique (GBT). Based on validation results, message source vehicle generates ratings that are be uploaded roadside units (RSUs), and through that, trust offset value can calculated. All RSUs maintain blockchain, each RSU tries add their blocks blockchain. We proposed a blockchain-based management model for vehicular adhoc network (VANET) based Tendermint. It eliminates problem of malicious nodes entering network, will also overcome power consumption. Simulation results show system 7.8% 15.6% effective efficient terms packet delivery ratio (PDR) end-to-end delay (EED), respectively, collect trusted data between vehicles.
